With over 40 years of combined experience, we can provide service for all of your sailing needs.   It’s a family affair, so when you call you are assured to get someone that has a personal stake in the business.

Chris Nielson

Starting at 8 years old making bags,

Chris has learned Sailmaking from the

bottom up, on his hands and knees.  He knows a sail literally inside and out.  Chris is one of the few left in the industry that knows how to hand loft a sail on the floor.  This knowledge transfers to repairs, and recuts.  His extensive knowledge of boats, will assure you that you are getting the right product for your needs.  With a sailing resume a mile long, we won’t bore you here, so give a call for some good talk.

Mickey Nielson

Growing up on the dark side, we got Mickey to switch to sailing.  Going power boat fast just isn’t as appealing to her any more.  She has learned fast, so don’t doubt that she can talk the talk and walk the walk. With a resume that includes Star Class 4th District Green Star Champion as a Skipper, GL36 NOOD Regatta winner, J-24 Worlds, Star Class Western Hemisphere Spring Championships, US Sailing Women’s National Championships (Adams Cup), and miles and miles on the water, she’ll be happy to answer your questions on sails and hardware.

Bryan Rebhahn

Following in Mom and Dad’s footsteps, Bryan started at 9 years old making bags.  He is now our repair guy.  Starting in Opti’s , he is now sailing in the GL50 Class in Chicago.
